The 8th ISEP 2025 goes Baltic (again)!

Dear colleagues and friends,

We are very pleased to announce that the 8th EAAP International EAAP Symposium on Energy and Protein Metabolism and Nutrition (ISEP) 2025 will return to its first venue in Rostock-Warnemünde, Germany, after 22 years. Since then our community met in Vichy (France), Parma (Italy), Sacramento (USA), Krakow (Poland), Belo Horizonte (Brazil), and Granada (Spain).

We at the Research Institute for Farm Animal Biology (FBN) in Dummerstorf, Germany, look forward to welcome old friends, companions and first time attendees from universities, research institutions and industry. As the No. 1 forum for researchers in the field of protein and energy metabolism and nutrition in livestock, ISEP 2025 is ready to welcome scientists and practitioners from all over the world.

You are cordially invited to enjoy the beautiful Baltic Sea coast, listen to our top-class keynote speakers in the eight scientific sessions (see program) and contribute and discuss your project results on nutrition and metabolism in farmed animals, but also in related fields such as pet nutrition or animal models used in human nutrition research. As usual, the participants can look forward to a lively welcome reception, delicious conference food and refreshments as well as a great social dinner.
